32-Year-Old Yerevan Resident Shoots at Dogs and Gets Hit in the Face by Another Citizen
On April 24, at 03:00, a young man called the operational management center of the police, reporting that a man was using a weapon in the yard of one of the buildings in the Avan-Arinj 1 microdistrict.
The Press and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia reported that law enforcement discovered and detained a 32-year-old man on suspicion of illegal possession and use of a firearm at the mentioned location, taking him to the Avan division of the police. He presented a handgun resembling a 'Makarov,' which was found to be unloaded.
According to the report accepted from the young man who called the police, at 02:40, the 32-year-old man had fired at stray dogs, which prompted the caller to hit him in the face. A criminal case has been initiated.
