Ambulance Responding to Emergency Hits Child
On April 23, an accident involving an ambulance occurred in Yerevan. At around 12:00 PM, a 61-year-old resident of Yerevan, Samvel Sh., while driving a Toyota ambulance registered to the city's ambulance station, struck a pedestrian—10-year-old Alexia M.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, Alexia M. and a 16-year-old passenger of the ambulance, Marush H., also a resident of Yerevan, were taken to the "Surb Astvatsamayr" Medical Center with bodily injuries. Another passenger, 60-year-old Laura M., was transported to the Number 1 University Hospital.
