David Hovhannisyan is a Participant of the 44-Day War

In November 2020, David Hovhannisyan defended the country in the trenches, and yesterday he raised the honor of Armenians at the European Championship.

It should be noted that David Hovhannisyan, a member of the Armenian weightlifting team, has won the European championship for the second time in his career, achieving a total of 377 kg in the clean and jerk, making him unattainable for his competitors. The reigning European champion also secured small gold medals in the snatch and clean and jerk events with results of 172 kg and 205 kg, respectively.
