Arsen Harutyunyan Becomes Wrestling European Champion for the Third Time
Arsen Harutyunyan has been crowned champion in the 61 kg weight category of freestyle wrestling at the European Championships held in Zagreb, Croatia, defeating Albania's Zelimkhan Abakarov in the final.
The 23-year-old Armenian wrestler began his campaign in the quarter-finals, where he defeated Turkish wrestler Emrah Ormanoglu with a score of 7-0. In the semi-finals, Harutyunyan triumphed over Armenian wrestler Arman Eloyan, who represents France, with a score of 10-0.
In the final, the Armenian wrestler secured a 5-2 victory over Abakarov, marking his third European Championship title in his career.
