Zelensky Calls Hague Court Decision to Arrest Putin Historic
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has referred to the International Criminal Court's decision in The Hague as "historic."
"The leader of a terrorist state and another Russian official have officially become suspects in war crimes related to the illegal deportation of thousands of our children to Russian territory. Such criminal actions could not be carried out without the order of the supreme leader of this terrorist state. Separating children from their families, depriving them of the ability to connect with their relatives, hiding children within Russian territory, scattering them across distant regions—all of this is evidently a part of Russian state policy, state decisions, state evil, which starts with the very first official of this state," said the Ukrainian president.
