Photos: Car Collides with Rock Dislodged from Cliff in Tavush, Igniting Fire; Casualties Reported - Ministry of Internal Affairs

Today, an accident occurred on the Dilijan-Ijevan road, resulting in a fire outbreak. This information has been reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ rescue service.

“At 21:33, a call was received at the Tavush regional crisis management center regarding a burning vehicle on the Dilijan-Ijevan road. A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department has been dispatched to the scene,” the statement reads.

It has been determined that on the 7th kilometer of the Dilijan-Ijevan road, a Mercedes-Benz vehicle collided with a rock dislodged from a cliff and caught fire. Preliminary information indicates that there are casualties.

The fire has been extinguished.
