Armenia Has Not Withdrawn Its Troops from Azerbaijani Territories, Says Aliyev
Armenia has recognized the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan in Prague and Sochi in 2022, but has still not completely "withdrawn its troops from Azerbaijani territories." This statement was made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev while speaking at the extraordinary summit of the Turkic States Organization in Ankara.
He reiterated unfounded claims against Armenia, stating that Yerevan allegedly has not removed its "military units" from Azerbaijani territory (from the regions of Artsakh controlled by Baku).
"Armenia is also avoiding its obligation to open the Zangezur corridor. Thus, Armenia is grossly violating the declaration signed on November 10, 2020, and must be held accountable for this," he emphasized.
It is noteworthy that the previous day, a report adopted by the European Parliament condemned Baku for invading the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia and blocking the Lachin corridor.
