After the Press Conference, the Civil Contract Party Will Convene a Directorate Meeting: 'Zhoghq'
According to 'Zhoghq' newspaper, the Civil Contract Party (CPP) will hold a meeting of its directorate this evening following Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's press conference. Prime Minister Pashinyan is also expected to attend the meeting.
The CPP members are reportedly set to discuss the situation surrounding Armenia and Artsakh. It appears that they themselves feel that the current conditions, especially regarding Artsakh, are anything but reassuring, and negotiations with Azerbaijan are increasingly reaching a deadlock, with external challenges multiplying.
Given this situation, CPP members have decided to meet more frequently with Pashinyan to receive firsthand updates on developments.
Additionally, the CPP directorate meeting will address the situation surrounding MP Arsen Torosyan, a member of the CPP directorate. The issue is that during these days, CPP members have been unable to 'capture' Torosyan in the National Assembly. They are reading his posts online, and thus, they hope that Torosyan will come to the directorate meeting and provide clarifications on how large sums from the state budget were misappropriated in the name of fighting the coronavirus during his tenure.
The details will be available in today's issue.
It should be noted that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's press conference is scheduled for 12:00 PM today.
