US Prohibits Supply of Smartphones Exceeding $300 to Russia and Belarus

The United States has banned the supply of smartphones to Russia and Belarus. The ban specifically targets smartphones with a value exceeding $300, as reported by the US Department of Commerce.

Restrictions are also being applied to air conditioning units, refrigerators (over $750), microwave ovens, dishwashers, printers (over $300), and other equipment. Exporters will only be able to obtain licenses for deliveries to Russia and Belarus in exceptional cases.
