4.4 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Turkey-Syria Border
A 4.4 magnitude earthquake has been recorded in the southern part of Turkey, near the border with Syria.
This information has been reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 25 km southwest of the city of Antakya, which has a population of approximately 210,000 people. The depth of the quake was 2 km.
There are currently no reports of casualties or destruction.
