Another Chinese Balloon Flies Over South America: CNN

Another Chinese balloon is flying over South American territory. This was reported by CNN, referencing a statement from the Pentagon, as shared by Gazeta.ru.

“We are receiving reports of a balloon flying over Latin America. We believe this is another Chinese surveillance balloon,” Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder stated.

According to the television channel, it is currently unclear where the balloon is located in South America.

Earlier, NBC reported, citing Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder, that in recent days, U.S. military personnel have tracked a Chinese surveillance balloon in the northern part of the country.

Ryder mentioned that as soon as the balloon was detected, U.S. authorities took emergency measures to protect sensitive information.

Later, Ryder asserted that the appearance of the Chinese balloon in U.S. airspace violates international law.
