Demand for Seizure of Various Properties Owned by ‘Vstrechi Aper’ Filed
On February 2, the Anti-Corruption Court continued the examination of the lawsuit filed by the Prosecutor General's Office against Aram Vardanyan, known as ‘Vstrechi Aper,’ along with his son and daughter, regarding the seizure of illegally acquired properties.
The real estate involved includes a quarter of the building located at 7/5 Rostomyants Street in the Erebuni administrative district of Yerevan, a quarter of the building at 2/8 Sayat Nova Avenue, properties at 2/5 Sayat Nova Avenue, and several other addresses.
The demand also includes the current average market value of the Bentley Continental GT vehicle, totaling 17 million drams, with a variance of 9.4% amounting to 14 million 304 thousand drams, excluding the already paid 1 million drams. Additionally, the difference in value for the BMW X6, compared to the paid 1 million drams, is 6 million 805 thousand drams, among others.
A total amount of 104 million 13 thousand 540 drams has been identified as having an illegal origin, which cannot be substantiated by the individual's legal income or identified as legitimate, thus subject to seizure.
