«Ukraine Warned You»: After Scandalous Statement, Ukraine's Ambassador Summoned to Iran's Foreign Ministry
Following a statement by Mikhail Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Ukrainian President's office, Ukraine's ambassador to Iran has been summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry. This was reported by the Iranian Tasnim news agency.
The ambassador was asked to explain Podolyak's statement, in which he indirectly acknowledged Ukraine's involvement in the attack on the Iranian Ministry of Defense in Isfahan. Podolyak had stated, "Ukraine warned you."
Nasir Kanaani, spokesperson for Iran's Foreign Ministry, condemned the official's "hostile and provocative stance" and labeled the statements regarding the destructive operation against the military complex in Isfahan as "suspicious." The Iranian government has demanded an official and clear explanation from the Ukrainian side, according to a ministry press release.
It should be noted that on the night of January 28 to 29, unknown drones attacked several military facilities in Iran. Arab media claimed that the attacker was Israel.
