Nikol Pashinyan Will Not Attend Davos
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, will not be attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, as confirmed by the government to Sputnik Armenia. “Such a visit is not planned,” they stated.
Pashinyan participated in the forum only in 2019. In 2022, Armenia was represented by the President.
The session of the World Economic Forum is set to open today in the Swiss ski resort of Davos, after a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. More than 50 heads of states and governments are expected to participate, along with 19 central bank governors, 30 trade ministers, and 35 foreign ministers, as well as leaders from the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Trade Organization.
Notable attendees include the UN Secretary-General, the President of the European Commission, the Prime Minister of Spain, the Presidents of Poland and Lithuania, the Chancellor of Germany, as well as the Presidents of South Korea, Iraq, and Azerbaijan, along with the Prime Ministers of the Netherlands, Greece, Georgia, Serbia, and Albania.
