Ice Breaks in Lori, 4-Year-Old Child Falls into Water and Drowns

On January 15, a tragic incident occurred in the Lori region. Around 5:30 PM, the operational management center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Lori regional police received a report from the Vanadzor Ambulance Station. They stated that a group of on-call doctors had gone to one of the villages in Lori, where they retrieved a child's body from a nearby pond.

According to sources, police and investigators determined that at approximately 5:00 PM that same day, 4-year-old T. Morozova fell into a waterhole when the ice covering its surface broke while she was attempting to cross it.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Lori regional investigative department. By the investigator's decision, a forensic examination of the body has been commissioned.
