If it's determined that Russia cannot fulfill its obligations, it must appeal to the UN Security Council: Pashinyan
During a press conference, Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan discussed Azerbaijan's intentions to blockade the Lachin corridor, stating: "This is essentially a provocation with two aims: to break the will of our compatriots in Nagorno-Karabakh to live in their own homes, in their own homeland, and to draw Armenia into a larger provocation."
In response to a question from an AuroraNews journalist, he added that the international response should be capitalized on precisely in Nagorno-Karabakh, at the Lachin corridor. Highlighting Russia's stance and the operations of the Russian peacekeeping force, he remarked: "I have said that if it becomes clear that Russia cannot fulfill its obligations—due to objective or subjective reasons—as a permanent member of the UN Security Council, it must appeal to the UN Security Council to either endow the Russian peacekeepers with an international mandate or send a new multinational peacekeeping mission to Nagorno-Karabakh, which would ensure the security architecture established by the trilateral statement of November 9."
