I Will Visit Armenia to Reaffirm the Support of the French National Assembly, Says President of the French Assembly
During this Christmas season, my thoughts are directed towards all Armenians to whom I extend my wishes for hope and peace. This was stated by the President of the French National Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet, on his Twitter page.
“Next week, I will travel to Armenia to reaffirm the support of the French National Assembly,” wrote the President.
It is worth noting that since December 12, 2022, Azerbaijan has closed the Lachin corridor connecting Artsakh to Armenia, resulting in a blockade of the 120,000 residents of Artsakh, including 30,000 children. 1,100 civilians, including 270 minors, are unable to return to Artsakh from Armenia.
Due to the blockade, it has become impossible to deliver 400 tons of food and medicine from Armenia to Artsakh daily, leading to shortages of food and essential medicines.
