4-Month-Old Infant's Health Remains Critical: Artsakh Ministry of Health
Due to the blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia by Azerbaijan, planned surgeries in medical facilities operating under the jurisdiction of the Artsakh Ministry of Health have been suspended. This was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
In the 'Arevik' medical center, 11 children are currently in the neonatal and intensive care units. The health of a 4-month-old infant diagnosed with 'Visceral leishmaniasis' remains critical, and the child is receiving appropriate treatment.
At the Republican Medical Center, 7 patients are in the intensive care unit, 4 of whom are in extremely critical condition. Doctors are doing everything possible to stabilize the patients' conditions.
The Artsakh Ministry of Health is taking all necessary measures to properly overcome the situation created due to the blockade.
