60 Million Dollars for Armenia and 2 Million Dollars for Artsakh. Armenian Assembly of America Details
The final appropriations bill for the fiscal year 2023 includes $60 million in aid for Armenia and $2 million for demining efforts in Artsakh, the Armenian Assembly of America reports.
The concluding report states that the agreement includes no less than $60 million in support for Armenia, including programs for economic development, private sector productivity, energy independence, democracy, and the rule of law.
In addition, the agreement stipulates the allocation of $2 million for humanitarian demining and unexploded ordnance clearance operations in areas affected by the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
