Artak Beglaryan, an advisor to the Prime Minister of Artsakh, has illustrated the absurdity of the ongoing situation against Artsakh with a personal story.

“A few days ago, I came to Yerevan for educational and work purposes. I promised my 4.5-year-old daughter, Nane, that I would return home today, and I do everything to keep the promises I made to her. Today we spoke on the phone, when I said I couldn’t come back, she started to cry and asked why I was not keeping my promise. I replied: - Azerbaijanis have blocked the road so that you and many children like you cry and we miss each other a lot. - 'We should beat them and drive them away,' Nane replied resolutely... In life, my heart has been tempered under the press of longing many times, but even in this case, this yearning is exceptional, filled with a sense of responsibility,” wrote Beglaryan.
