Gunshots Heard in Yerevan

Gunshots were heard in Yerevan a short while ago. Around 5:00 AM, the «Erebuni» Medical Center notified the Shengavit Division of the police that two citizens had been admitted with gunshot wounds.

Auroranews was informed by the police that the incident occurred near the Noragavit cemeteries. "The circumstances of the incident are being clarified, and the documents have been forwarded to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia," said the police.

At the hospital, doctors informed the police that the injured individuals are currently in surgery and are unable to provide explanations about what happened.

While the doctors at the «Erebuni» hospital battle for their lives, the police have clarified that the wounded are 47-year-old Karen S., who suffered a gunshot wound to the upper right thigh, and 45-year-old Armen K., who sustained a gunshot wound to the lower left side.
