Several Streets in Yerevan Will Be Closed Today
On December 5, starting from 3:00 PM, the streets leading to Republic Square will be closed to ensure the safety of participants in the opening ceremony of the 20th International Children's Eurovison Song Contest 2022 and the lighting of the Christmas tree in the square.
Specifically, the following streets will be closed: Tigran Mets Avenue from the Tigran Mets Avenue-Khanzadyan Street intersection; Nalbandyan Street from the Sakharov Square; Abovyan Street from the Abovyan-Pushkin Street intersection; Amiryan Street from the Amiryan-Zakyan Street intersection; and Vazgen Sargsyan Street from Shahumyan Square.
