US Embassy Calls on Citizens to Avoid Anti-Russian Protests Planned in Yerevan
The US Embassy in Armenia has urged its citizens to steer clear of the anti-Russian protests planned in Yerevan. A letter from the United States diplomatic mission to its citizens in Armenia has come to the attention of 24news, indicating that the embassy recommends avoiding areas where anti-Russian actions against Russian President Vladimir Putin and the CSTO are scheduled to take place today, November 23.
The letter specifically states:
“Local media reports indicate that certain roads will be closed, and demonstrations are possible throughout Yerevan. The protests could be unpredictable, with participants changing direction at any moment, creating new blocks for traffic and movement. Even peaceful protests can escalate into confrontations and potentially violent situations.”
Actions to take include:

- Avoid crowds,
- Steer clear of demonstrations,
