Drinking Water Will Not Become More Expensive for Citizens: Details
The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia has announced on its Facebook page:
“Regarding the news reports about a planned increase of approximately 9 drams in the drinking water price starting from January 1, we would like to inform you that the Public Services Regulatory Commission has already completed its review of the 'Veolia Water' application and will make a decision at the meeting scheduled for the end of November. Regardless of the final decision by the PSRC, the Government will neutralize the price increase for all consumer groups with adequate subsidies if necessary. This means that drinking water will not become more expensive for citizens until 2024.”
