Aliyev Threatens Armenia from Occupied Shushi
Karabakh is our land. This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. It is noteworthy that the aggressor is currently in the occupied Shushi.
“Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed there, and their stay is defined in the statement of November 10, 2020. If the Armenian side relies on someone else, it will again face tragedy. What are the Armenian armed forces doing in Karabakh? Our patience is not limitless, and I want to remind again that if the withdrawal of Armenian formations does not take place, Azerbaijan will take necessary steps,” Aliyev added.
“Armenia should know that in the current circumstances, we are not held back by any statement from a patron of Armenia, but by our own policy,” he continued. “If we were afraid of anyone, we would never have started the second Karabakh war. And now we are ready to face death, demanding our own rights, because although the war ended two years ago, there are alarming moments, and I want to address the Armenian people and share my thoughts. They are now witnessing the bitterness of thirty years of occupation. We simply responded to them, fought on our land, and drove the occupier from our territories. They must understand this, so that they do not become victims of the circles sitting abroad that wish to view the region as a playing field,” the autocrat stated.
