Why the OSCE is being dragged into this: Lukashenko on the Armenia-Azerbaijan issue
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has labeled the involvement of Western mediators in the resolution of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict as a political game.
“A game is in progress. I understand what kind of game it is,” said the Belarusian president during a meeting in Minsk with CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas.
“Why has the European Union been drawn into this? Why is the OSCE being dragged there? Well, it is understandable why. What will they do there if there is already a mediator present?” Lukashenko stated.
