We Have Come as Friends of Armenia: EU Parliament Members Visit Armenia
Members of the European Parliament are contributing to the maintenance of stability in the region through their objective statements and actions, said Arman Yeghoyan, the chairman of the National Assembly's permanent committee on European integration, during a meeting on November 1 with European Parliament members Peter van Dalen, Fabio Massimo Castaldo, and Lars Patrick Berg.
Peter van Dalen noted that they have come to Armenia as friends of the country and will also be visiting the Syunik region during their trip.
The parliament members discussed a wide range of issues, addressing the report on Armenia that will be discussed in the European Parliament in the near future, as well as issues related to the further expansion of Armenia-European Union relations.
Also present from the Armenian side at the meeting were members of the Committee on European Integration Arsen Torosyan and Sona Ghazaryan.
