Kopirkin Visits Jermuk and Goris
On September 28, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Armenia, Sergey Kopirkin, accompanied by the military attache of the embassy, V.A. Kokosov, and the commander of the joint group of Armenian and Russian forces, Lieutenant General Tigran Parvanyan, visited the cities of Jermuk and Goris, as reported by the Russian embassy in Armenia.
“The head of the diplomatic mission met with representatives of the Armenian military command, familiarizing himself with the situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and the damages caused to border regions due to shelling on September 13-14,” the Russian embassy's statement said.
Sergey Kopirkin also visited the deployment sites of a separate battalion of the 102nd Russian military base in Goris and a separate aviation unit of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Sisian.
