Bayramov Discusses 'Zangezur Corridor' at the UN

The 'Zangezur Corridor' is an integral part of the international transport network. This statement was made by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during his speech at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

He noted that the establishment of friendly relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan is the key to creating a safe, stable, and prosperous South Caucasus.

"Azerbaijan has repeatedly expressed its readiness to initiate negotiations on a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and has established its national delegation for this purpose. At the same time, Azerbaijan has made efforts to commence the delimitation and demarcation of state borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as to open transport and communication links, including the creation of the Zangezur Corridor, which is an integral part of the international transport network," Bayramov stated.
