Situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Border as of 10 AM
As of September 21, 10:00 AM, no changes have been recorded in the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. This information was reported by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
It should be noted that since September 13, Azerbaijani armed forces have been conducting intensive shelling in the directions of Goris, Sotk, and Jermuk, using artillery and large-caliber firearms. The opponent has also been employing drones.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced during the government session on September 16 that the confirmed number of casualties on the Armenian side is 135. According to a statement from the Security Council of Armenia, the number of casualties and missing persons due to Azerbaijan's large-scale aggression has reached 207, including 3 civilians who were killed, and the whereabouts of 2 civilians are unknown. Additionally, 293 military personnel and 7 civilians were injured, and 20 military personnel were captured.
A ceasefire regime was established along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border from 20:00 on September 14, which was breached by Azerbaijani forces on September 20, as they fired towards Nerkhin Hand of Syunik Province.
