Pashinyan and Macron Discuss Azerbaijan's Recent Aggression
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. The Prime Minister provided details about the situation created as a result of Azerbaijan's aggression against Armenia's sovereign territory.
Nikol Pashinyan noted that despite relative calm along the border, the situation remains very tense. Emmanuel Macron reaffirmed his willingness to promote dialogue and peace.
The interlocutors also discussed the ongoing discussions regarding Armenia's application to the UN Security Council. Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of a proportional response from the international community to the ongoing events.
