France Asks UN Security Council to Address Armenia's Letter After Tomorrow's Discussion on Syria
France has requested that the United Nations Security Council discuss the situation surrounding Armenia. This was reported by РИА Новости, citing its source within the UN Security Council.
“France has asked the Security Council to address Armenia's letter after tomorrow's discussion on Syria,” the agency's interlocutor stated.
Earlier, the UN Security Council received a letter from Armenia's Permanent Representative. It is noted that at the direction of the Armenian Foreign Minister, Armenia's Permanent Representative at the UN, Mher Margaryan, is requesting an extraordinary meeting of the UN Security Council concerning the large-scale aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against Armenia on September 13, 2022.
It should be recalled that starting from midnight, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have begun intensive shelling of Armenian positions in the direction of Goris, Sotk, and Jermuk, using artillery and large-caliber firearms. The adversary is also employing drones. There are casualties and injuries.
