We Have Casualties: Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

On the evening of September 5, at a combat position located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, a conscript soldier, Junior Sergeant Arman Gagik Sarkissian (born in 2002), sustained fatal gunshot wounds as a result of gunfire from the adversary, according to preliminary data.

Materials are being prepared in the garrison investigation department regarding the incident.

The Ministry of Defense shares the heavy grief of this loss and extends its condolences to Arman Sarkissian's family members, relatives, and fellow servicemen.
