Bayramov and US Assistant Secretary of State Discuss Azerbaijan-Armenia Relations
The head of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, and US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Karen Donfried, discussed efforts to resolve relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia during a phone call held on Monday, Azerbaijani media reports, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
It is noteworthy that on September 5, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, held a meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, during a working visit to Moscow.
During the meeting, Mirzoyan and Lavrov addressed a number of issues related to the further development of the Armenian-Russian strategic partnership and allied relations, including cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, and cultural science.
