Iran Appoints New Consul General in Syunik Region
Abedin Varamin has been appointed as the Consul General of Iran in the city of Kapan, located in the Syunik region. This information was confirmed in a conversation with Armenpress by the Iranian Embassy in Armenia, which noted that additional details will be provided later.

There are indications that the consulate is likely to open this year.
