Preserve Ukraine's Territorial Integrity: UN

The UN has called for the preservation of Ukraine's territorial integrity. This statement comes in response to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's remarks regarding the expansion of the geographical objectives of the military operation in Ukraine.

“From the very beginning, we have made it clear that the offensive must cease. The Secretary-General has explicitly stated this. I want to emphasize that the UN General Assembly also made a statement regarding Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity on this occasion. Thus, this is the UN's position,” said Farhan Haq, the Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, in a press briefing.

Earlier, Sergey Lavrov announced a change in the geographical objectives of the special operation in Ukraine.
