Another Billion for Ukraine: Denis Shmyhal
“Ukraine will receive a $1.7 billion grant from the fund established by USAID, the International Reconstruction and Development Bank, and the International Development Association,” said Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal to journalists today.
He noted that the grant funds will be allocated to USAID on a non-repayable basis and will be deposited into Ukraine’s state budget.
Shmyhal indicated that these funds will be directed towards healthcare insurance expenses.
