The Number of Applicants for Armenian Citizenship Has Reached Enormous Volume: Fidanian
During an extraordinary session convened in parliament, Deputy Chief of Police Ara Fidanian stated that the number of applicants for Armenian citizenship has significantly increased, especially in the last two months. There has also been a notable rise in the number of individuals applying for identification cards.
“The aim of the draft law is to expand the circle of individuals who can acquire citizenship through a simplified procedure to contribute significantly to the development of various sectors including economy, science, culture, healthcare, and sports,” Fidanian emphasized.
During the National Assembly session, the draft law was approved, receiving 58 votes in favor.
