“The GUM market has moved to Amiryan Street”: Sofia Hovsepyan raises concerns
Former MP Sofia Hovsepyan posted: “A year ago, even in the outskirts of Yerevan, a vendor could be fined by the municipality for having a couple of boxes of products in front of their shop, but today I walked along Amiryan Street and noticed that the GUM market has moved there. Has anything changed, and is street trading now being encouraged, especially in the city center?”
It’s worth noting that tables have been set up at the intersection of Amiryan Street and Mashtots Avenue, where fruits are being sold.
