Video: Footage of Passenger Who Stabbed Bus Driver's Arrest, Details

On the morning of June 9, a report was received at the Nor Nork police department. The "St. Grigor Lusavorich" Medical Center informed authorities that a 65-year-old man was brought to the hospital with stab wounds to the left side of his chest.

Operational investigative teams were dispatched to the medical facility. A criminal case was initiated on charges of attempted murder. Criminal investigators from Nor Nork, in collaboration with officers from the Avan department, took operational and investigative measures.

It was revealed that the victim is the driver of the bus. An argument had erupted between him and one of the passengers while on the route. They had exited the bus on Mikoyan Street, where the passenger stabbed the driver.

The criminal investigators from Nor Nork quickly identified the suspect. A 55-year-old man, a resident of the Shengavit community in Yerevan, was located and taken into custody the same day. He has been presented to the investigative body and arrested. Circumstances are being clarified in the preliminary investigation.
