Patrol Car Crashes into Electric Pole, Injured Driver Flees the Scene
Today, on June 10, a car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 01:15, a Skoda Octavia registered to the patrol service of the RA Police veered into the oncoming lane on Tbilisi Highway, crashed into an iron electric pole, and ended up on the sidewalk, colliding with the wall of a building.
According to shamshyan.com from the scene, the driver, who is employed by the patrol service of the RA Police, was taken to the “Erebuni” medical center with bodily injuries.
Patrol officers of the RA Police arrived at the site, and materials are being prepared regarding the accident. Several citizens gathered at the scene mentioned that the emergency medical team acted promptly, providing first aid to the injured person before transporting him to the hospital.
The cause of the accident was attributed to another vehicle creating a hazardous situation for the patrol car and several other cars, after which the driver fled the scene.
The patrol service is working to identify the injured individual and is taking necessary measures to clarify the identity of the driver of the fleeing vehicle and locate the car.
