This is Already a Confession of Betrayal: Shant Harutyunyan
For a society with normal values, Nikol is not intolerable but a traitor. If I previously thought that our society does not understand what the criteria for betrayal are, now I think they understand and don't care.
Shant Harutyunyan, the president of the "Tseghakron" party, stated during an interview on 24news.am this month.
“An example of betrayal is when Nikol himself said that he could have stopped the war, but the people would call him a traitor. This is already a confession of betrayal. He should have said that our chances of winning were 50/50, but I took the risk; that would have been understandable, but he preferred his own self-interest. He has undermined the institute of resignations. Pashinyan talks about democracy, but none of the previous presidents—Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Robert Kocharian, or Serzh Sargsyan—have undermined the institute of voluntary resignations, which exists in all countries, even in authoritarian regimes,” Harutyunyan said.
