Lavrov Discusses Incident Related to Aircraft
Since Western countries consider the visit to Serbia to be nearly a global threat, it indicates that things are truly dire for them, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
"If the visit of the Russian Foreign Minister is perceived in the West as almost a global threat, then, apparently, things are very bad in the West," Lavrov stated during a press conference.
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić announced on Sunday that President Aleksandar Vučić is forced to personally handle the logistical arrangements for Lavrov's planned visit on June 6-7. She noted that the official position of Belgrade is further complicated by the impending visit of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on June 10.
It should be reminded that the Serbian publication Vecherne Novosti reported on Monday the decisions made by the Foreign Ministries of Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Montenegro to prohibit the flights of Russian governmental aircraft through their airspace.
