Putin Simplifies Citizenship Acquisition for Orphans from Ukraine, Donetsk, and Lugansk
The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has signed a decree to simplify the process of obtaining Russian citizenship for orphans from Ukraine, as well as from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. This information was reported by the official legal information internet portal.
The document specifies that orphans and children without parental care, as well as incapacitated individuals who are citizens of the LPR, DPR, or Ukraine, are eligible to acquire Russian citizenship through a simplified procedure.
Previously, Vladimir Saldo, head of the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region, announced that the regional government plans to open administrative centers for those wishing to obtain Russian citizenship.
