Bomb Threat and Stabbing Incident Reported at School

Today, April 19, an extraordinary event occurred in the Vayots Dzor region. Around 12:40 PM, a call was received by the Yeghgnadzor police department reporting that a bomb had been planted at the secondary school in Vernashen village and that there were individuals with stab wounds.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, police officers and emergency responders, along with school staff, have evacuated the students and are currently conducting reconnaissance activities at the site.

The police have clarified that there are no citizens with stab wounds; the report does not correspond to reality. As for the bomb threat, rescuers continue their search operations. According to G. Shamshyan's information, police have also located the individual who made the call.
