Rubinyan: 'We Offered the Opposition a Closed Discussion with the Prime Minister, but They Refused'
Yesterday, during discussions with colleagues from the ‘Hayastan’ faction and after consulting with the Prime Minister, I proposed organizing a closed working discussion involving the Prime Minister and opposition factions. This was announced today during an extraordinary session of the National Assembly by Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan.
He specifically stated: “Our opposition colleagues told me that this format is not very acceptable. After discussing again with the Prime Minister, I made a second proposal to organize a closed working discussion in the format of the National Assembly Council, which also includes opposition colleagues from both factions. At this moment, I have not heard any positive or negative response,” said the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly.
