“I want to address a rather unpleasant issue for all of us,” said the Prime Minister during a government meeting while discussing the searches at the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the minister's arrest.

“It is a sad fact. Of course, we have no right to disregard anyone's presumption of innocence, but I also want to state that we have publicly committed to a zero tolerance policy toward corruption, and it is important that we consistently maintain that stance. An investigation still needs to take place, the case must proceed to court, and only with a legally binding decision can we draw conclusions,” said the Prime Minister.
