Armenian Security Council Proposes Immediate Talks with Azerbaijan on Comprehensive Peace Treaty

The Armenian Security Council has proposed to the Republic of Azerbaijan to start immediate negotiations on a comprehensive peace treaty.

The Security Council, drawing the attention of the international community to the possibility of military clashes in Nagorno-Karabakh and along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, emphasizes the necessity of activating international deterrence mechanisms to prevent new military escalation and ethnic cleansing in the region.
