Podolyak Says When Putin and Zelensky's Meeting Could Happen
The meeting between the Presidents of Ukraine and Russia will be possible when a draft of a roadmap that they can discuss is ready, Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to the Ukrainian President’s Office, wrote on his Telegram channel on Tuesday.
“When the working groups within the negotiation process develop some preliminary documents and present them to the presidents, they will assess whether this already constitutes a 'roadmap' that can be discussed face-to-face. Only then could the meeting take place,” he wrote.
At the same time, in his opinion, “any fundamental decisions can only be made at the meeting of the two countries' presidents.” Podolyak noted that “ongoing negotiations are taking place online, and there are numerous advisory groups involved in this process.”
