Yerevan Hopes Russian-Ukrainian Negotiations Will Yield Results: Pashinyan
Yerevan hopes that the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations will yield results and that diplomacy will be able to silence the cannons. This statement was made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during an event held at the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet in connection with Armenia's membership in the UN and the Day of Armenian Diplomats.
During the event dedicated to diplomacy, Prime Minister Pashinyan noted that he could not refrain from discussing the events occurring in Ukraine: “We are watching the unfolding events with a heavy heart, which are now clearly going to have global consequences. Our hope is that the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations scheduled for today will take place and will yield results,” he stated in his speech.
